Pump it Up!

So Mason had his "kid" party at Pump It Up! this year. Actually, he didn't get a kid party last year so we were feeling a little guilty and said sure, whatever you want Mason!! ;) He loved it, had a total blast. I think most of the kids had a blast too, at the very least, they got a good workout in. Quite frankly, I like my kids good and tired at the end of the day!

Art Show

So the kids had their Art Show at their school a couple of weeks ago, showcasing the art work they have done through out the year in with the art infusion program. (A parent run art program that brings the kids monthly art lessons taught by parents) Of course the boys are proud of their art work, as they should be! And just a little side note, the very top picture in this post, is from Matthew's 3rd grade class, although he didn't choose one of the self-portrait pieces to show. But I included that picture because out of the 4 or 5 pieces, the one that is in the top left corner is the one that Matthew's teacher did. ;) She did a pretty good job too!

Kids were constantly on the move.....

So my friend Debbie got married in December. It was a gorgeous wedding, everything was beautiful and I swear I've never seen such a calm bride!! :) My kids even had a good time, but probably due to the fact that Colin, Nathan, Brennan, and Aidan were there too. These boys have been friends since their very early days, (the youngest 3 basically since birth), and even though they don't see each other all the time, when they get together it's like no time has passed. It was actually really cool to see the boys enjoying each others company so well. And heaven help me, Matthew participated in the garter belt toss!! He had no idea what he was joining in but Colin explained to him that "It's this ding-dong thing that they throw and you try and catch it". Too funny!! Thank goodness Matthew didn't catch the garter, the mother in me might just have a stroke!! ;)

100 days of Kindergarten (for Mason!)

So it was almost 2 months ago, but I liked the pics of Mason so I figured I better post them! ;) It seems like yesterday that I was talking about Matthew and kindergarten. *sigh*. I was too unoriginal to come up with anything new for Mason's "hundreds project", so I recycled the same idea I used for Matthew. 100 pretzels on a necklace. And Mason was perfectly happy with it, because he could eat them as he went along!

Last Night

Last night I met up with many old friends from my dancing days. Wow! Has time gone by!!!! And yet Vicki and Lynn still look the same! It was a great evening and I think everyone had a really good time, including yours truly. Huge shout out to the Space Room, who reserved a space for us at no charge on a Saturday night. They must remember us, or rather, our parents!!! ;)
